This is a quick brainstorm to give you overview over astrological houses. You can use this list to work with your chart and transits. When you understand what each house mean, you know in which area of your life certain astrological events (Full Moon, Eclipses, Mercury Retrograde, different transits...) may be manifested and this gives a lot of understanding of your emotional processes and changes in life.

TRANSITS - energies that are constantly moving and activating certain houses in your chart. Some are short-term (Moon, Mercury, Sun), some last for some weeks (Venus, Mars), some for months (Jupiter, Lilith) some for years (Saturn, Chiron, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto).
ECLIPSES - most intense transits. New Moon & Full Moon on steroides. Karmic redirections, endings and beginnings. This is when you have the biggest realizations, changes, you meet very important people that may change your life direction. Happenning every 6 months, always in pairs. Apart of 2 weeks of most intense Eclipse Season, observe events & signs 4 weeks before & after the Eclipse. After the Ecliose peak, a new 6 months journey starts so evwn if nothing happens exactly on the Eclipse (that's actually quite rare), you will be seeing domino events unfolding for the next months... Butterfly Effect.
KARMIC NODES - Bring karmic release (South Node - past) and fated destinations (North Node). Always 2 opposite houses are activated together - in one house, with SN, we are doing shadow work, letting go of old attachments and limitations, and shedding old skin. In the other house, with NN, we are learning new lessons, experiencing strong focus on this side of life and embracing new ways of doing things. The more you release your unhealthy traits in the SN house, the bigger karmic reward the NN house will bting. You can apply this also to your natal Karmic Nodes which shows your Soul Purpose.
