Bad Aspects in your Chart - are they really so bad?

Writer's picture: Jolanta - Soulight Space Jolanta - Soulight Space

Squares and oppositions… those red, unwelcome lines in our charts…

Some astrologers would say: BAD ASPECTS.

Conflicts, obstacles, tension, frustration, polarity…

CHALLENGES…

But are they really so bad in the end?

If you think about your life, which ones were the moments when you’ve learnt the most? Moments when you grew, become wiser, understood more about yourself and life, enriched your like with new experiences and felt this empowering feeling of “I managed! got this!”

When did that happen?

When you were stuck in your comfort zone?

Or when life pushed you to overcome some challenges?

When you were doing the same old familiar thing?

Or when you tried something new and unknown?

When you were living in peace, repeating your daily routine day by day, following the same pattern over and over again?

Or when something drastic, shocking happened to you and you had no other option than to be strong and fight?

Yes, “bad aspects” makes us feel uncomfortable and “bas transits” bring obstacles. But they also bring wonderful lessons and opportunities to grow. They bring motivation to act and move. Those tense energies act as catalyst for our progress, action and change.

So if you see those scary red lines in your natal chart, try to look at them from another perspective… not as your enemies… but as your opportunity to overcome your own weaknesses, opportunity to prove your personal power, opportunity to become a fighter, opportunity to master your energy.

My Natal Chart is basically based on T-squares, being called the most volatile aspect in Astrology and even though life is challenging and there was always a lot of inner fight going on, I live a very interesting life full of action, ambition, learning and grow. My T-squares always keeps me in motion, never let me just sit down, do nothing and watch my life passively from the coach. There is always a need for action, progress, change, and I call those squares and oppositions my blessings, not enemies, because despite being still quite young person I lived already so many different colourful lives in different cities and countries. They push me to be active, to challenge myself and risk. T-square will never let you stay still, and that brings so much life into life!

Due to such tense inner energies I was also forced to learn how to balance energies and master the art of balancing and compromising two opposite voices. I have no doubts that my inner energetical struggles pushed me to deeply explore the world of human psyche, astrology and spirituality. “Bad aspects” motivated me to learn about so many things, because that knowledge was my only option to finally find a middle point and bring more harmony into my shaky, complex, contrastive inner world.

So I invite you to try a different approach towards squares and oppositions in your chart. Try to embrace your “bad aspects” and learn how to master them. Those are your unique opportunities to progress. Stop blaming harsh transits or squares for your life problems, take the responsibility of being the director of your life instead and taste how empowering is that! We can really calm those conflictive energies if we learn about them and about ourselves. That's why the self-discovery journey is so worth it!

Do you have any T-square in your Chart?
